Tahawi Desert Rose

Tahawi is of the extremely rare strain, Kuhaylan Halawi. The U.S. total of representative offspring by the tail-female line of the Kuhaylan Halawi stain is 13, six are stallions, and 7 are mares- one on which is Tahawi Desert Rose. Along with her exceptionally rare blood, Tahawi has very large dark expressive eyes, bold powerful movement, refined throatlatch and a very feminine typey face. New to the Lyday Farms brood mare band; Tahawi’s first foal was a flashy bay filly that was exported to Mexico.  We look forward to future foals Tahawi will have for the farm.

I have a daughter from this mare sired by my black stallion Anazeh El Nasar.
We are VERY proud of her!
I also owned her grand Mother Fahda EAO. She was one of my favorite mares and lived a very happy life here at Sun Valley until she passed away at age 27.
